Introducing the PSP phone... - May 23, 2007 23:48
I kid you not according to the following article, Pony and BT (British Telecoms for non Uk residents). Are to work together to bring voice and text messaging to the PSP. I wonder if the Gocam will be used for video messages too.

seems a reasonable solution, most companies are trying to turn their phones into handheld gaming devices so why not the other way round? Would you want one of those clamped to side of your head however?

Why not? More features is always sweet.

Bit of an update to this, looks like it has been around for some time, well the concept anyway.

Why the hell would I want to talk into something the size and weight of a brick? It' d be like going back to the 90' s where phones were " portable" in the same sense as " carrying around a cinderblock."

Text messaging? Fine. But turning the PSP into a phone is a flawed concept. The guy in the picture looks like an idiot with the PSP on the side of his face. I' ll keep my PSP for what it was designed for thanks.

I think it will go down the route of VOIP but the concept is interesting that they wanted or rather thought about a swivel screen
