Halo 3 Beta video

Mr. Jukes has put together this video using the in-game video recording feature of the Halo 3 Beta. For those unfamiliar with him, he' s something of a jumping expert. The video features mostly power weapon use.

Even though it' s not the best looking game out there, it does look damn fun. This is coming from someone who didn' t really like Halo 2 multiplayer much.

I think Halo 3 will still have some graphical suprises in store, especially in single player. Those water effects at the beginning of the video were impressive in my opinion.

Bada$$...

...i' m far more interested in H3' s story and singleplayer experience (as always), but it' s nice to see the game looking more complete visually....

.....all the people who bitched about Halo 3' s graphics are gonna look pretty stupid when the final game is released...

I just wanna play the Co-Op, with a buddy on my couch, and some beers. Other than that I don' t give a crap about Halo3... Or any other Halo.

I' ve been playing a bunch of co-op H2 lately. Speed runs actually.

That guy was rubbish... He can' t even crouch jump.... ¬¬

Halo 3 looking mighty impressive in motion I must add.

There are two rules to success:

That looks brilliant! Not a lot different to H2, but they still have months on it and he said at the start the beta was pre-Xbox Live beta due in 5 days!!!!

Edit: I' m aquainted with somebody in on the " Friends & Family" alpha-beta (), it' s supposed to be amazing.

I just watched this video. Why are they making this game for the original Xbox? I would think that they would want to take advantage of a system like the Xbox360 which offers better graphics. Oh well, guess not.

The environments almost look like they' re going for a sort of hand-painted style.

It looks like Xbox Halo with better draw distance, slightly sharper textures and smoother framerate.

That would look decent if it was a port of Halo 2, but for a game built from the ground up on X360 it looks pathetic.

If the Wii was only capable of 480i, it would have to be deinterlace it. - Emotep

most games are tuned down in the MP versions since its hard to predict the situations and numbers of players that can happened this making FPS unstable. Things being scripted in SP the graphics will most likely me a ton better.

Dont they have like 6 months til release? I' m sure that time will be plenty to start stacking on some graphical love.

Anyhow, Im nto much a fan of halo, I just got ti since everyone I knew was getting it, and I didnt wanna be left aside during some Xbox Live gaming.

Seriously, you could tripple the this-and-that and tune the that-and-watchamago but it' ll still look bad for a 360 game.

If they have Co-op over Live I' ll have to buy the game.
