Playstation 3 was launched officially today in india ... It costs $900 .. Thats like two months salary for most ppl here ..

Yeah its funny .. Atleast i dont have to import like i had to for the ps2 and xbox .. I m goin to pick one up in a couple of months but i dont see many ppl buyin it here ..

That is exactly why i feel this is stupid ... Why launch the ps3 at such a high price when u know not many ppl are goin to buy ... Nobody here cares for the ps3 or the xbox360 for that matter .. Not much of a gaming culture in india ... And not all indians are poor .. U can call them poor by US or UK standards. The cost of living here is very low so we cant expect to be paid like u guys

I checked but i couldnt find a site that shipped the ps3 to india ... The xbox360 costs the same here as in the US ..

In morocco, the ps3 20go pack costs 7200 DH after tax that is around 800 dollar after tax. but all those ps3 are simply imported, this one was before the european launch , because usually we import pal versions.
