Times up! If you guessed that my xbox bricked that mam or sir you are 100% correct. I didnt go thru no flashing red lights or nothing. Just out of nowhere at about 2 am my 360 could no longer read any discs what-so-ever. No warnings no flashy red demon eyes nothing.

Now I sit here on day 4 waiting for a box to be delivered. In which I will pack my 360 and wait some more. Im not too bitter tho as I plan on getting and Elite anyhow but I was planning on trading my current console in. Owell just a sligth delay in plans is all.

At least the weathers nice and the air is fresh.

Fuck, I wonder if anyone here is still on their first unit? I bet the " elites" are all lemons too. If there is a company that has the balls to release an " Elite" titled consumer product only to have it die on you, it' s MS.

I bet they do it on purpose. There' s probably going to be an extra chip built into the Elite that comunicates with a timer. As soon as the timer reaches zero, the chip turns the " Elite" into liquid shit! All so we buy the 999.99$ ULTIMATE Xbox 360, that has a HD-DVD drive built-in and comes with Windows Vista Ultimate. And can also double up as an actual grill...just to fuck with us.

I hope the 360 that Bill Gates has for his kids bricks on him, and his kids call it a piece of shit.

I' m still on my first Japanese and American units. I have on occasion gotten the red ring of doom, but it only happened at start up on both units, which a simple reboot rectified..

Import unit I got the same week the 360 was launched in Japan. The U.S. unit I got a little later on (probably between a month - month and a half if I remember correctly)

I still have my first 360, as do two of my friends. We got them at launch. Two of my friends that got their 360' s a week or two after launch had to send their 360' s back in.

Mine broke this summer, I tried a method going around the internet that permanently fixed the RROD' s... good as new!

The hype I take it you meant? The Elites are almost certainly using 65 nanometer architecture for their chips, this is a step up from 90 nanometer processes, as they run much cooler and more efficiently. They' ve got an HDMI port, which means it has a brand-spankin' -new digital/analog scaler making it possible for " real" 1080p. And duh... a bigger HDD.

It' s still not here yet, which means I' m bored since it' s 4 am wtf else can I do?

Well here' s my personal list of things to do when you 360 is gone:
1.Goto your favorite forum and begin posting as muchas you did in your early days.

2.Explore other means of gaming (like playing with you Wii, or try to painful expeirence of using a keyboard an dmouse to do some PC gaming[fun but painful]

3.Draw odd pictures using flash mx for varoius places like your art site, forums, or desktop wallpaper.

4.Explore the deepest parts of the internet...it' s scary. I even found Wil Weatons blog...who' s Wil Weaton you ask...search him up to find out! On a brighter note I also found lotsa porn!!! Yaaaay!

5.Contemplate maybe actually looking for a new job...you moneys not gonna last forever.

6.Take stuff apart.

7.Put back together.

8.Buy new things to replace ^mysteriously broken items.

9.Eat, sleep, put on some wieght...the then lose it again. Then repeat. Til you need to make a trip to the hostipital.

10.Make a cake! That was a good day.

11.Get pissed at girlfriend for not ever being there!

12.Realize that you wer enever there for her because of your Xbox360.

13.Have make-up sex!

14.Have more make-up sex!!

15.Get drunk...then have even more make-up sex!!!

16.Come back to reality and realize girlfriend is angry and refuses to have any sort of sex at all... :(

17.Cry...not about her, but because your 360 is still away.

18.And of course make a list of things to do when you 360 is gone...

You could do what i did when mine broke. Sit there and really wish it were there, but then when it got there i didnt even care. It was like i had been living in the wilderness for 10 years when it was really only 8 days

Even better I got my and my girlfriend 2 free copies of Crackdown (Halo3 beta included) due to exploiting a series of offers thru gamestop, Xbox Live Diamond card, Edge card, and mag subscription. I also bought her Rainbow 6 Vegas to celebrate her finally getting Xbox Live.

I litterally have only gotten a few hours of sleep since the return.

SO yeah Crackdown is fun especially if you get it free and play co-op.

I saw you were online. I take it that everything is working as advertised.

I' m confident that my 360 will hold out just up ' til the moment that I try to play Forza 2 for the first time...
