That Karl Malone is going home empty handed again. Sounds cruel? Let me explain.

I’m the type of player that likes to see all the greats win a ring. I wish Reggie could have won one, Stockton, Barkley – all the great players. At one time, I even wanted Malone to win one. But what I don’t want to see is a player spend his entire career fighting and sweating in one city only to sell-out right at the end for one final push for the ring.

I can understand that a ring means everything to Malone, but IMO, what he did was just petty. If you give your heart and soul to a city, don’t turn your back on them at the end.

It’s hard for me to explain, but I’m the person to place team and city over ring. Great players will have their place in history with or without a ring. But it’s the legacy you left in a city that matters most to me. Malone left a great legacy in Utah, but I feel Malone turning his back on the city and basically going “you’re not good enough” tarnishes it.

Yeah, it’s true, Utah wasn’t good enough. But Utah loved him for a decade+ and I think the least he could have done was let Utah love him till the very end.

So I say to you Malone – HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! BITCH!!!

Did they complain after they lost or something?

I don' t care much for basketball, but I am always happy when the Lakers lose. It seems like they are always winning. Plus, Shaq seems to have an IQ of about 16.

Take away the number 1 and your figure will be correct.

hahaha ok shaq might not be Stephen Hawking, but he plays center like nobody' s business. And not only b/c he' s a mammoth, he plays it smart.

Of all the lakers, shaq seems to have his head up his ass the least. I' m kinda glad they lost, even tho it' s great seeing a dynasty

i' m a spurs fan, so i' m glad the lakers lost. we should have won that game 5 with 0.4 seconds to go. they started the clock late, and that' s why it counted.
