Quezcatol - It depends on what software will X360 have till that day.Some won' t , but some will.Especially if Sony isn' t showing anything that can' t be done on 360.

That statement maybe somewhat true...

However, I waited (and glad I did) because of 2 factors:

1) Budgetary limitations, and
2) concerns over backward compatibility - a must if M$ wants my $$!!!

For me, it just makes sense to wait until I see 1) a drop in price, 2) my XBOX titles on the backward compatibility list, and 3) a better, more complete lineup of at least AA titles that actually interest me (DOA 4, ES4:Oblivion, etc.).

Since none of these have really happened (except the fact I do like COD2), I will continue to take a ' wait-and-see' approach and enjoy my XBOX games.

Judging from that article, I probably wont be able to afford a PS3 whenever it launches! So you never know, if I do get a 360 that' d be time. Plus maybe PS3 games will suck compared to PS2s excellent library cos of lack of developer interest/late launch.

One things for sure, I definitely wouldnt want to be Sony right now. Even though I' m not really impressed with the 360 so far (just my opinion!), Sony have a tough job of convincing developers with their unfriendly hardware (which requires installing a potentially profitable consumer base) and consumers of their apparently future proof but incredibly expensive technology (which requires developer support!).

Its a really tough balance. It all comes down to cost and hardware quality and I bet it' d be very tempting for Sony to cut corners. I really dont blame Nintendo for stepping this one out!

Seeing how xbox360 sells bad in japan,it looks safe for SONY,however,if they lose the Final Fantasy 13+Dragon quest 9 to multiformat as wada will announce if it happends or not in next e3,then we know if they are in trouble...
If FF serie goes to xbox360,and FF creator sakaguchi does make rpgs to xbox360 too...well then you cant say MS xbox lack rpg anymore...

a 360 half the price is a exelent deal. are we talking about the version with the hard drive, remote, wireless controller, a headset, and whatever is in that package ? or just the basic console with wired controller ? i' d rather have the full package.

speaking of backwards compatible, i want to see my games being backwards compatible too, becouse i want to play them on xbox live.

outrun 2 (never played that one trough live, but i do use kai xlink to fulfill my multiplayer needs. to bad there are way to little amount of outrun 2 players there, so thats why i want to see if i can find some players on live)

burnout revenge (no system link, so i can' t play that one on kai xlink. so playing this on live should be a blast !)

rallisport challenge 2 (exelent trough kai, so more gamers would be fun !)

midtown madness 3 (also almost no gamers found on kai, but wonder if the live connection will give more options to do in the game.)

but, even without backwards compatibillity i find live trough xbox 360 exelent. my nephew has a connected 360, and playing project gotham racing 3 online is a blast ! almost everyone uses a headset, so its more social too !

I can see the core pack being dropped from retail as soon as the price of the premium package drops. Even if the PS3 goes in sale for £300 and the 360 is a £200 I don' t know if that' d be enough for most people to stop, think and go for the cheaper option. But Microsoft probably has a whole year without the PS3 and by the time the PS3 is released will have some killer titles. We know of some killer PS3 games but will they make launch or be relegated till sometime after?
