The ONLY time i mentioned PS3 was saying that i expect Microsoft to have several things in place before Sony' s launch. That was it.

Imagien that Mass effect,gears of war,viva pinata,too human and forza 2 just to name a few are out then.

I dunno if they will be able to do it I hope they will but I think it might be hard convincing some people who have been waiting this long for the other 2 consolesunless you have something really enticing.

I doubt they will do it before the PS3 is released... more realistically is
halfway through next year...

I would probably guess 7.5 if even that much since they' ve been relatively quiet since feb.

I think it really is dependant on how the PS3 is received when it is released, you
might see a surge in sales of the 360, because a lot of people are waiting to see what the PS3 has to offer. If they feel like they have been let down, they could
very well swing to the Wii60 combo.

Microsoft originally said they expected to hit 10 million by the end of the fiscal year (ending in April 07), then changed it to before the PS3 launches.

I think that with PS3 launching in November, the 360 sales in October - March will push Microsoft to the 10 million mark. Mass Effect, Gears of War (yay!) and Too Human are supposed to launch before the year' s out and Halo 3 is set for March. I think that by the end of the fiscal year Microsoft will have passed their 10 million target fairly easily.
