Who' s your Bond?
-
Apr 23, 2004 05:30
With Brosnan' s fifth and final James Bond 007 coming up (#21), I was wondering... Who' s your favorite James Bond? And who do you think should play the next one? list of 007s: # Sean Connery - 2 # George Lazenby - # Roger Moore - 2 # Timothy Dalton - # Pierce Brosnan - 5 Pierce was my favorite James Bond. But that might be because Ive only seen one Sean Connery one and none of the rest. But, the most recent Bond film was' t all that great and very very corny IMO.

I never really got into the James Bond movies. I think I might have only watched one of them in the whole series

Not a big Bond movie fan, but there is something about James Bond that makes a gal' s heart melt. So as far as Bond' s go... I gotta give my vote to Pierce. That is one fine specimen

i think that Roger Moore is the best bond ONLY because he had the best Gagets(back then) and moonraker the the best bond movie ever! Roger Moore was the Frist to do all the Bong gaget stuff. i am talking about the over-the-top Gagets like the Ciggarette gun. come on, Ciggarette gun? that IS bond. Roger Moore is the best beacuse he was the first to make Bond what he is today. Ciggarette gun!

ive seen all the bond movies. seriously, and several times too. i think Pierce Brosnan was the best Bond simply because hes so suave. ive read the books too by Ian Flemming and except for being a little bit taller Brosnan fits as bond perfectly. the next person they get is going to have some big shoes to fill. Sean Connery was next best, he fit fairly well too because he looked comfortable to be Bond. Roger Moore would be third best on my list, he had the gadgets as IORI pointed out, and he did Moonraker, which is one of my favorite, but he looked to ridged on screen but his facial expressions were always pretty funny. Timothy Dalton made a good Bond because Bond did a lot of crazy stunts in his movies. he just didnt look very Bond-like though. George Lazenby was in what, one bond movie? the first one i think. he was ok, you gotta give the man props though cause he kicked the whole thing off.

The best was Pierce Brosnan, but all of them are good. Bond rules

def a Connery fan.....the quintessential Bond. I would give Pierce my #2 slot though.

I' m not a huge fan of the Bond films - they' re way too corny especially the recent ones. Anyhow my favourite would have to be Sean Connery. As for the next Bond actor? Unless they can improve on the last few films I really don' t think they should bother. Provided they can I' d possibly say Ioan Gruffudd.

If I wasn' t so young when Connery was Bond, I might have chosen him. But I think brosnan did a great job in the role, so I' d have to go with him

Roger Moore is the best Bond because the films he featured in were the best Bond movies. Octopussy is my favourite Bond movie but just look at other classic efforts like Live and Let Die. His only fault was that he stayed on too long prehaps and looked slightly dated. In terms of character that honour really has to go to Connery who really was his own Bond, people like Brosnan are good but Brosnan plays the role like Moore rather than doing it in his own fashion.
