Man theres too much for me to say. Why dont we mention a Game that we think has the the elements: Gameplay, Story, Graphics, Atmospheric Sound/FX, Immersion Factor/Believability/Attention to detail.. Its got to be Shenmue no?

I agree with shenmue and Halo combat evolved. its so hard to choose only one. I also heard great things about Shadw of Colossus but never played it.

I think the most important part of any game is the immersion. I want to feel what the character is feeling. A man with a bag over his head and a chainsaw is running towards you- I want to feel fear Your comrade is gunned down in the heat of battle- I want to feel pain (in a completely realistic and non-masochistic kinda way.) You' re jumping across building after building stories high in the air- I want to feel vertigo. You' re inches from being discovered by an armed guard- I want to feel panic. My most memorable gaming experiences are those that are tied to me emotionally. yeah, there are games that get your adrenalin pumping, and that' s just fine with me. and there' s games that really work your brain, and those are good too. but my favorite ones, are the ones that use your human emotions to their fullest extent.

Shenmue - yes Halo - well maybe ... I think Ocarina of Time is that kind of game. Half Life 2?. There are a couple games that good, but it really hurts to see how rare they are .

I think that every Zelda game has been great in every way. Graphics music, story, gameplay, everything. Some people complain about the story being to simple but a simple story isn' t necessary a bad one. I think lots of RPGs have too complex stories. Sometimes they' re so complex it gets to the point where it' s stupid.
