Saw Reservoir Dogs today. Wasnt as good as Pulp Fiction but it was still a great crime movie. I really enjoyed it.

Saw Fun with Dick and Jane. It was really funny. Jim Carrey is at his best in this movie. If you love Jim Carrey and you love comedy movies definetly go check it out.

Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire -> Some what dissapointed in it. Reality Bites -> I am a sucker for 90' s pop culture. I like it! Love Actually -> I love that movie!!!! We don' t live here anymore -> umm... yeah.... i was only half-assed watching it.... but it was uninteresting and dull.

Rented War of the Worlds, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Lava Girl & Shark Boy. WoW: Excellent movie - Cruise was just not that believable. MMS: Pitt and Jolie good character picks - movie just not all that exciting (to me). LGSB: Cheesey, but kids loved it. These movies were all rented through Redbox, with only one having significant playback issues. The movie selection can be good - if you get there before everyone else has raped the machine of all the good titles. Overall: Redbox is good. Where else can you rent movies for only a $1 a pop (per night)?

WoW: Excellent movie - Cruise was just not that believable. I agree! He looked completely out of place in that movie!

Donny Darko - What a freakin' good movie! The Machinist - This movie was amazingly awesome! I can' t believe what Christian Bale did to his body in order to make this movie though. It was like a different person totally. Tonight I' ll be watching The Island - can' t wait.

Well, I rented from Redbox again... Are We There Yet? was just ok as a movie. Ice Cube was excellent as expected, but the rest of the cast and storyline just weren' t believable. Batman Begins would have been a great movie...started out that way...but the copy I had froze-up about 20 (or so) minutes into the movie. I never got to see him as Batman... ;( Amityville Horror appears to have been acceptable...it was rented and viewed by my daughter. When asked, she gave just so-so answers - usually meaning that she was just ok with the movie - that she wasn' t " wow" -ed by it. Of these movies, two of them had significant freeze-up issues. This left me with a distaste that may (or may not) be overcome - it all depends on the response I get from the folks at Redbox. I will let them have the chance to ' make-good' , before I update my overall feelings about their service(s).

Chicken Little definitely not a kids movie. My nephew was severely scared by it. A couple of really lovable characters, and an ok movie. Phantom of the Opera I love it! love love love love love it! I love it even though parts of it reminded me of really cheesey music videos. It was great.

Watched Lords of Dogtown last night - WOW, what an excellent movie. You don' t even have to be a fan of skateboarding to appreciate this movie. Even the music in the movie was awesome - gotta love those old tunes

Hostel : A lil slow at that start but picks up to a great ending. Not as shocking is it was said to be...and thats coming form chickapoo88. Lotta tits but not to the state of being porn or nething. In cabin fever fashion, its gory, with a twisted sence of humor all the way. 7.5/10: Good but wait for the DVD.

Daroosh, it involves aliens and it is a bit frightening. My little guys are 3 and 5. The five year old was more scared than the 3 year old, but the 3 year old confessed to not liking it too much (he liked the beginning). The seond half of the movie gets very " War of the Worlds" like and their are aliens invading earth and vapourizing things and people. There is a lot of loud, sudden sounds and " shocking" type scares. I mean I jumped a few times in the theatre.

Thanks for the heads-up, Rikka. As for me, this past weekend was ' watchalottamovies weekend' . Let' s see...I saw: 1) Sky High - good quality family movie that both my family and I recommend highly. 2) Batman Begins - best Batman movie to date!!! 3) Cat In The Hat - purchased this gem for $5 and my youngest just loves watching it (over and over and over again). But that' s why one would buy it! 4) Fantastic 4 - I was quite impressed with the storyline and special effects. One last note...Jessica Alba is just so beautiful!!! 5) 40 Year Old Virgin - Quaintly amusing with a few moments of above-board humor. I liked the movie, but thought it could have been even better. 6) Guess Who - Love Bernie Mac...Love Ashton Kutcher (for the most part)... and Zoe Saldana is one hottie!!! Excellent meet-the-parents situation containing humor and conflicts that bring it all home! Excellent movie!!! 7) Valiant - Wonderful WWII-based story about birds and their part in the success of the last big war. Excellent offset between villain and good-guy(/bird)! Highly recommended for kids and adults alike. 8) Grinch - another $5 purchase. This is the non-cartoon version (since my youngest son loves this movie). I like this version as well as the cartoon, and recommend it for anyone who is looking to pick up a good christmas title. That' s all for this past weekend...nice to know that I can actually rent some movies without paying $5 each! That' s possible due to Redbox! With regards to Redbox, I changed the location that I rent from. This corrected the issues with bad/scratched dvd' s. After contacting Redbox, they made good by providing free rentals (one-night each). They were both understanding and helpful of my situation and made things right! I give Redbox high marks!!!

As MassX already said we went to see Hostel. And it was rather boring in the beginning and there were a lot of tits. But it got good when the torturing came around, I still don' t see how anyone walked out of that movie. It wasn' t even really gory because it never showed anything really. But I liked it and I do recommend waiting to see it on dvd also. Thanks a lot MassX for ruining everything! [:' (] Now I sound like a copy cat.

Saw Underworld:Evolution today. It was a damn good movie. Lots of blood, gore and action to go around. The fights were awsome and the ending was boss. And the way it ended makes it look like their gonna make another sequel. I would definetly recommend seeing this movie in theatres.

KungFu Hustle That was pretty neat... odd and bizzare but very entertaining. Lots of very cool fight scenes. The artistry was amazing.
