Now that I think about it. I think the storytelling is one of the things I don' t like about most rpg' s.
I read a lot of actual books and watch a lot of actual movies, and quite frankly the vast majority of videogams don' t measure up in that category.
And since Jrpg' s in particular really depend on story to carry them, I lose interest as soon as the story gets boring or cheesy, which is pretty damn early in most of them.

FF is a huge culprit. If any one of the Final Fantasy storylines was actually published as a novel there' s no way I could finish it. I hate melodrama. FF is like a soap opera with swords and magic. Ughhh.

If I don' t enjoy the story the game is pushing me through, and that story is supposed to be the game' s biggest selling point, how can I enjoy the game?

Some games get it right. The first KOTOR was brilliant. The second KOTOR, not at all. By the time I got to the of the second one I was just trying to finish, I no longer cared about the story.

Oblivion' s story isnt that great either, but I love exploring the world so much it really doesn' t matter.

Shenmue was definitely headed in the right direction in respect to story and freedom. Too bad I' ll probably never finish the damn story

Japanese RPG' s are huge and there are many, So expect some boring dialog and poor voice overs. However, the majority are actually good, vs their Western Counterpart. Only now there is a lot more RPG' s but before it was all Japan. And for the Western storyline there aren' t all that impressive ...may start off good then end up sap.
Point with Elder Scrolls , but the gameplay and graphics, atmosphere brings out the best in it.
Also Japanese games usually involve a lot of school girls or funny/cute characters that gets old fast with irritating voices.

Can you play Forza Motorsport with a 360 wheel, and if so does it support force feedback?

Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit plays flawlessly, supports both 16:9 and 480p.

Genma Onimusha has very very minor glitches (textures popping out briefly) at the beginning of the game but other than that it woks fine. It' s 4:3 and supports 480p.

The Grand Theft Auto games are mostly fine. Both III and Vice City have minor slowdown when everything gets really hectic, and San Andreas runs perfectly. All 3 are 16:9 and support 480p but non allow custom soundtracks from within the game.

Halo runs perfectly, 4:3 and 480P, and both splitscreen and and system link are fine too. I haven' t actually tried it online for a while.

Halo 2 has some random ghosting which is mostly visible when looking up at the sky. It' s not a big deal but you will notice it. It' s 16:9 and supports 480p and splitcreen, system link and Xbox live work without any problems.

Ninja Gaiden/Black works perfectly. 16:9 and 480p. Awesome!

Shenmue II works fine by all accounts but i haven' t been back to play it yet.

KOTOR had a dodgy framerate to begin with and i haven' t played it since i got a 360.



Games like Ninja Gaiden/Black will look awesome set to 720p, much better than at 480p, but some games like Chaos Theory look slightly blurred in 720p and best in 480p.

I played through Indigo Prophecy, KOTOR and GTA:SA on ma PC, and they looked/played fantasticly sharp and smooth. I' d recommend those for PC. The rest I played on XBox for control or other reasons...

Forza I' m not so sure about, haven' t tried that one yet, but I' m waiting for F2 just round the corner anyway.
