Nobody was hurt during the heist, unless you count Harmonix, MTV Games and EA, as well as the 1,000 people who would’ve eventually bought this awesome game.
The heist wasn’t for 1,000 copies of the standalone software—we’re talking 1,000 units of the $170 bundle.
From the article: “The robbers kidnapped the truck driver and held him at gunpoint while they unloaded the cargo.
“…Authorities say they don' t have any suspects but believe it was an inside job because the thieves knew that the truck, which featured no obvious sign of the goods it held, was worth hijacking.â€
EA rep Bryce Baer said, " We' re glad no one got hurt. We hope these guys end up forming a rock band in jail."

Risking up to 20 years imprisonment for 84 grands worth of hard to sell videogame software is daft. Especially given that they couldn' t posibly sell them at full price. Say 60k, split between several people... it' s just stupid.
