I was going by what I had seen from both games as in gameplay videos..

I didn' t actually click on any of the screenshots...

They' re not gameplay shots???

That first screen of AC is gameplay, the Darkness one doesn' t look like it is...but it could be. I do agree though if the Darkness' graphics are as good as that screen then their textures are alot more amazing. But as it stands I haven' t really seen that detail in the gameplay trailer.

I was worried in the beginning that this game was going to be pretty run-of-the-mill, but I' m willing to give it a chance now.

..i thought Silvesri (the D' s Creator) had nuthin to do with the game, but then i just found this official cover he did for Play magazine ...this game is gonna bitch-slap ure fat Nintendo a$$...!

I don' t know what any of you all are seeing in that Darkness screenshot that you think looks better than the Assassin' s Creed screens.

In the Darkness screenshot, I see stretched textures on the ground and pipe on the left side of the screen, and there' s even a visible seam in the texture on the pipe.

You know thoose images are taken 2005. The game looks alot better now.

The only problem with The Darkness in terms of graphics is the fact that the game is infact dark which will be a problem for the LCD owners with bad black levles (i.e. all of them).
CRT FTW!!!

The two games have drastically different styles, so I' m not sure comparing them is quite fair. One has many-many NPC' s on a fairly bright screen at any given time with pretty nice looking visuals, and the other has really dark gritty scenes with a moderate amount of characters.
