The story of pro quarterback Paul Crewe (Sandler) and former college champion and coach Nate Scarboro (Reynolds), who are doing time in the same prison. Asked to put together a team of inmates to take on the guards, Crewe enlists the help of Scarboro to coach the inmates to victory in a football game " fixed" to turn out quite another way. Depending on how much TLC they use to create the re-make, this could be one very nice movie...or could be a complete flop. Only time will tell...

the last remake i saw was wicker park, and boy did it suck the big one. the original was a zillion times more suspensfull. bah new remakes.(most of them) edit manchurian candidate was good.
