Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is gonna' be baaaad. Another minigame title for the Wii? No no my friends, this one is different, it' s got a Hedgehog hero gone to seed and a money grubbing Italian plumber in it. I thought Super Mario Strikers was gimmicky enough.

I can already predict the levels. 2 person hurdle-races using the ' mote to jump. Swimming competitions by alternatively moving the controllers up & down a-la-Rayman. Ooh! Ooh! I know! A shotput game where you swing the ' mote around!!! That' d be beastly!

Well, I think the Mario vs Sonic Olympic game could go either way really. Huge Nintendo and Sega will certainly enjoy it.

If I hear more complaints than compliments, then I will avoid it, as there are many other games that I want more (some that have been out for donkeys years).

I don' t know if there have ever been any worthwhile Olympics video games, because there' s so many events it' s hard to develop them to a consistent level of quality.

Or maybe I' ve just always held a grudge against them ever since Activision' s Decathlon destroyed multiple 2600 joysticks.
