Steel Battalion

Just got Steel Battalion delivered to my house (finally) today at lunchtime. Oh Yeah!! I pre-ordered it from www.game.uk.com (basically EB in the UK) on the 11th of February to make sure I got a copy seeing as its so limited and recieved it today. It seems it got released earlier than its official 28th March release date. I ain' t complaining. So what do i think? Firstly the controller is the best thing I have ever used. I was worried that it might feel cheap and break easily, but this is the most solid controller ever built. Remember those cheap and tacky third-party pads that always broke? This is the complete opposite! Initially it is extremely difficult to control your VT in the game, but with a bit of practice you are blowing up Mechs all over the place. This is a completely unique experience and I don' t regret my purchase in the slightest. However, I would not say there is £130 worth of game here. Regardless, it is obvious where the money went on the controller. The graphics are good but not great. Adequate sums them up. I ain' t played this game too much yet, but initial impressions are all good. Also, no matter how many times you repeat a mission it never seems to get boring......yet.

Yep just got my copy as well, though I got odd looks from people on the underground thinking I was carrying a mobile rocket launcher. I' ll give it a proper go tomorrow.

I dobt you will be able to find it online, but if you do there is no need to worry about postage. With items that expensive, most places offer free delivery. I got mine sent from www.game.uk.com and it cost me £129.99 with no delivery charges.
