Yes, GTA does have a legion of pre-teen fanboys spewing garbage about how great GTA is. I used to work in a videogame store. I met people like that on a regular basis.

After all, what popular game DOESN' T have a legion of fans pro-claiming <insert game> is the greatest thing ever?

I worked at a video game store for three years myself, including during the Halo/Xbox launch.

Every massively popular game has it' s share of idiot followers. But there is not a single game or franchise out there that is as bad as Halo and, soon to be, Halo 2. This is easily attributed to the ridiculous campaign by MS to push this game...if it were shoved down our throats any further, we' d all have choked to death by now.

Microsoft is not pushing the game everyone else is.
