Uncharted looks great, but they need to fix the sub par shooting, i hate the way he the enemies barely react to the shots fired, if you shoot them in the leg they should fall to the ground, not fly backwards. The animations looks great but Drake himself looks a little floaty, like gravity dosent apply, he moves too fast while climbing.

Thankfully they have a few months left and can easily fix those issues. Apart from that it looks fantanstic.

Just like ive always said (and been ridiculed for by 360 fans before). .Once they start to hack into the Cell hardware, PS3 games will look and Run the shit!!

Technically, probably the most impressive console games ive seen.

They' ll look nice, but the 360 will still always trump it for texture quality.(comparing max possible clarity, not lazy developer clarity)

This is definately going to be an interesting holiday season though. Depending on if the MGS rumors are true, and Killzone' s release and score, my purchase date for a PS3 is going to be quite shaky.

Tell that to the developers of every PS3 game so far because many don' t have much in the way of AA and yet the texture quality is still worse.

It depends on your display, but yeah, HDMI is better than component.

I' d argue that VGA on 360 has the same sharpness advantage over component too.

Yeah, i used VGA on my 360 and it certainly looked better than default component visuals.


I thought HDMI was overhyped but was soo suprized by the difference in clarity it offered over both Compnent and VGA.

Hopefully the Elite' s HDMI output is on par to show a true 100%, uninterrupted, digital output.. the difference in picture is worth getting another 360 in ' Elite' Form...

I think it looks boring. Okay, the environments look kinda sweet but the gameplay didn' t look very interesting. It better have one hell of a story if I' m going to be interested. And the animations they boast so much about looked lame IMO.

The best thing about Unchartered are the cinematics, the gameplay elements look
boring, the in-game animation is far worse than the cinematics (where the
animation is startlingly impressive). The enemies look lame, they don' t even look
like they are thinking.

The main character looks like that guy that left Naughty Dog.

I thought Heavenly Sword was going to be a definite purchase, but, after seeing
the new footage, where the enemies look boring and enjoy standing around
waiting for her to cleave through their " sacred genitals" , I think Sigma will
keep me more than entertained, as well as God of War 2, which are both better.

Screw it.... So is DMC4.
