Some random Nintendo DS information.
-
Jun 03, 2006 05:56
- UNCONFIRMED: Japanese retailers reported that Nintendo may soon end production of the original Nintendo DS in Japan, in future only DS Lite will be available in the market. The reason is that Nintendo has stopped shipment of the original DS model for over a month, and it certainly does not take this much time to produce the system. - Nintendo has sold 900,000 copies of its NDS action game New Super Mario Bros. in Japan, in 4 days after the release on May 25, 2006. - Japanese retailer reported that Nintendo is working on a new NDS training game, which translates to Common Sense Training for Adults DS, the game will contain 2,000 common sense / trivia questions. The release date is October 2006.

Pokemon Diamond & Pearl to feature Wii Connectivity. And in related news: The actual game itself!!! Pokemon Battle Revolution. Could this be the proper 3D Pokemon game that many have been praying for? Well, it sounds to me like a revamped Pokemon Stadium(which is no bad thing IMO). I doubt it is the former, as it may take years for anyone to pull off such a miracle. Anywhooo, what are your thoughts on this?

Bleh, not another one. Granted if it' s as good as the original Red and Blue (my personal favorites, all the others were strange clones) I' ll retract my statement. It' ll be good to see some old faces on Nintendo next-gen, but if it' s been like the last few pokemon brand games... [:' (]

Could this be the proper 3D Pokemon game that many have been praying for? Wouldn' t put money on it. For some reason Nintendo feel the need to push us to our very limits concerning a fully blown 3D Pokémon RPG. I' ve no doubts that Pokémon Battle Revolution probably will be a very good game - and with the Wii technology something along the lines of shouting attacks into your remote (if it does indeed have a mic) and virtually lobbing Pokéballs could be interesting possible additions - but when it all comes down to it, this will still be the fifth (I think) incarnation of your basic Pokémon vs Pokémon game that got old a few hours after completing Stadium for the first time back on the 64. It doesn' t really make that much sense. That is unless their business plan' s to bore us so much over a decade that our natural instinct is to buy seven copies of the 3D game once (if?) it' s released... At which point it' s genius. Hope I' m wrong though. UNCONFIRMED: Japanese retailers reported that Nintendo may soon end production of the original Nintendo DS in Japan, in future only DS Lite will be available in the market. Seen loads of reports on the ' net treating this as a big deal. Personally can' t see why. Old DS is shit. New one is excellent. Why on earth would they still want to offer a choice?

Some of the games on the list are already known to be Wifi enabled, though this acts as a round up of those games. Here is a round up of the upcoming Wifi titles over the next year or so: Bomberman Land DS Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin Contact Custom Robo DS Diddy Kong Racing DS DS Air Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fate Final Fantasy III Jump Superstars 2 Mario VS Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis Naruto DS Starfox Command Tales of the Tempest Tenchu - Dark Secret Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam Touch Panic Winning Eleven ... And apperently... Kirby??? This is, as of yet, not all entirely confirmed. However, some of them are, so this could be pretty promising.

Japanese developer Suzak has let word slip on its next project. The development house is now at work on " Kaitou Wario Seven" for the DS. This is, of course, the next Wario game. The name is listed as being a placeholder. Suzak has been responsible for a number of big titles in the past, including F-Zero Climax on the Game Boy Advance and the DS port of Tengai Makyo II Manji Maru. In addition to Wario, Suzak has another secret DS title in the works. Plus, Nintendo files a " Messaging Service" patent

Prepare yourselves. What we all feared has definitely come true. This is DS news at its most horrific... Nintendo DS feels a Tingle New details on Nintendo' s upcoming Zelda character' s very own spin-off RPG If you' ve been following Nintendo' s Zelda series since Majora' s Mask hit the N64 way back when, you should be more than a little familiar with the character Tingle - the camp fairy... thing... who tends to polarise gamer' s opinions somewhere between ' love' and ' want to beat to death with a sledgehammer' . Anyway, Nintendo announced that Tingle would be getting his very own DS RPG last year but news has been thin on the ground since then, with some sources claiming the game had been ditched. However, the latest issue of Famitsu has brand new information on the game, which is still alive and well and - by all accounts - completely and utterly bonkers. Now known as Japan as Mogitate Tingle Bara Iro Rupee Land, which apparently translates roughly to Fresh Tingle' s Rose Colored Rupee Land, you' ll play Tingle from his humble beginnings as a normal man. Shortly after the game starts, you' ll meet up with Rupeeji who tasks you with collecting rupees (the Hyrule currency in Zelda). On accepting the quest, you' re transformed into the Tingle we all know and love - or want to beat to death with a sledgehammer - and must embark on an adventure involving lots and lots of money. It seems you' ll need money for all sorts of things, including making other characters very happy. Other than the fact you' re accompanied by a girl fairy called Pingle, not much more is known about the game at this point. However, Fresh Tingle' s Rose Colored Rupee Land (which we really, really hope Nintendo doesn' t choose to rename when the game arrives over here) is currently scheduled for release later this year, so more details should follow swiftly. In the meantime, you can see some shots of Tingle' s first solo outing, courtesy of a Famitsu scan, over at Jeux-France.com. News courtesy of C&VG. I urge you to keep calm. The DS is still a good console and news of this release should not effect your decision of possible future purchases.

Just about everyone has been hoping for a proper 3D Pokemon game for years, but here are a few ideas of mine: 1. I think that players DON' T have to enter random battles, but can battle Pokemon roaming around in the wild- and, if they choose so, and the Pokemon is weak enough, one could sneak up on the critter and catch it without it even noticing them. 2. If they are good enough, players could opt to become a gym leader themselves. They could have their own little gym that they could moderate(in an Animal Crossing style fashion) and travelers could even challenge them in the middle of nowhere- when online, of course. 3. Players could join many different groups. These include Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua, Gym assistants, etc. If they chose to join Team Rocket, etc, then they can try to steal Pokemon from trainers(and the trainers can still get them back). Obviously, rarer Pokemon would be a lot harder(or in some cases, impossible) to steal.

They should make the pokemon games as lifelike as possible like you could jump in front of an attck for your pokemon in a cool cutscene type .And after getting hit with a thunderbolt youd be out. or you can travel while your hurt or let your pokemon follow you. Or you can sit in a pokemon center and chill with other trainers in real time or chill in the pokecenter with your pokemon
