No it' s not, it' s to make people aware that the gaming industry is seen as an entertainment industry which is on par with theatre,TV and the movies. Gamers should look at this and embrace the idea of there now being credibility for what we like to spend our free time doing, we are no longer seen as geeks or nerds anymore.
