If you are pumped for it, then that should be your justification. As for me, I have no interest in it unless it was DLC at $10 or less. I already own the original version and I don't want to buy a whole new version just for some new characters, new moves and a few refinements to what is essentially the same game.

Well it's a cash flow situation innit. I only ever played a preview build of SF4, so not quite so bothered by the idea of two different (very different, to be fair) versions of the same game.

Not different enough to justify spending full retail price on both.

Joe Redifer Not different enough to justify spending full retail price on both. I couldn't see myself spending that kind of money on a fighting game and its update on the same console.

Yeah, but I'm not going to buy both ;) Saw it in HMV last night on my way back from the pub. Trouble is, there are cheaper, older games I need to play first...

I took it too far. Got it for 360 and PS3.

My god man, there's no need for that kind of support. Capcom isn't exactly short of cash :p I went with Lost Odyssey in the end. Bayonetta's probably next - still not sure how I feel about that one.

You should love Bayonetta if you spend some time with it. Lost Odyssey is great, and should keep you entertained for at least 60 hours. It's more generic, but probably a better game than FFXIII.

I took LO back to the shop - battle system seemed decent, and I'm sure the characters grow on you, but I just don't have the patience for this sort of thing any more. Give me a game that can get off the launch pad in less than an hour ;) Bayonetta on the other hand I absolutely adore. Devil May Cry was one of the games that really brought the jump from PS1 to PS2 home to me, and Bayonetta is basically Devil May Cry to the power of 10. Genius :D

Dam SSFIV is coming for 3DS too.. Should play better due to DS's great digital Pad (unles you own a joystick or Sega Saturn pad convertor)
