.....ever since it' s proper unveiling during E3, i have been quietly excited about Insomniacs " Call of Duty meets Half Life" FPS, Resistance: Fall of Man....

..however, from reading Kikizo' s hands on and other articles, you get the impression that Resistance is likely to be not much more than a passable average shooter at best.....

...what do you think?.... ...after seeing the new trailer, and these new screen shots;













...i' m even more excited... ...i think it looks awesome... ...and it has become my most wanted launch PS3 game....

Graphics and design looks cool but if gameplay is as bad as some articles have said then it' s a failure anyway. Hopefully they' ll improve on that area before launch. I won' t have any expectations on this game. I' ll just wait and see. It has the potential to be amazing if the developers get it right. But we' ll see.

I have a hard time to decie what i think about the graphic.
Sometimes i think it looks fucking amazing,sometimes it look medicore.

For ex at last e3 you saw like 30-40 soldiers rushing into giant spiders and other strange things and it was like 10/10,and you saw how they killed off the soldiers imn a very cruel and cool way.
ANd it feelt like you was one of them,a very weak human but with the his team being able to finish the job.

But this e3 you run around like a Hero dont caring about your life just killing off things like in a serious sam style.
And there wasn' t as many people with you.

i agree, its weir how such thing can happend, well the game may be cool, i gess the strongest part will be the online game, they say the game will be able to deal whit up to 45 players at 60 frames per seconds, that whit no doubt is awesome so i guess the best is yet to be seen, one thing is for sure though, insomniac always makes good games at the very least so i hope this one is no exeption

...you are joking, yes?.....

...if not, perhaps you should take a good look at THESE gameplay videos....

....considering it' s survival horror styling, i' d be very surprised (and annoyed) if there are no decent levels of gore and mutant alien blood in this game.....

......the only real possible concern i can see about this game, is how it controls.... ...kikizo were pretty unconvinced by how it actually plays to the gamer..... ...i' m really hoping that the finished article will be as smooth, silky and intuitive as a title like Halo.....

....this game seems to be a pretty high budget, blockbuster sort of game, so again, i' d be really surprised if they allow something as basic as crap controls to ruin it all.....

....but i guess we' ll see closer to november...

I see what you mean about the physics now.

The weapons/enemies still suck though, there' s no head movement, no blood anywhere to be seen and most importantly the PS2 pad has no force feedback for the game to utilize.

FPS games suck using Sony' s Dual Shock 2, why would this be any different?!

Resistance however while good looking...seems terribly boring.

Most console FPS' s Bore the Life outta me..

Everyone jumping on the Bandwag' n and all are still way of the best of the PC experiences like the now old HL2, and the tons of deeply instantly playable MP FPSs.. (that play how they should be played)..

Im sick and tired of these shitty (especially 360) FP' S, all they do is make me feel sick and cuss at the Crappy excuse for Controls.. even Metriod DS kills them all for responsive gameplay..

The Next Console FPS i' ll be playing will be on the Wii.. atleast that will/should actually complement FPS' s.
