Problems with Assassins Creed...

Struggling to fit the 360 version oin a single DVD9... Struggling to get the PS3 version up to the same quality as the 360 version due to memory limitations... The game' s creative director, Patrice Desilets, told Pro-G in an interview that one of the biggest challenges the team is currently facing is fitting everything into a 360 DVD disc compared with Sony' s Blu-ray format. Conversely, he revealed that the team was " really struggling right now on PS3" because of memory problems specific to Sony' s console He added: " Both have their own challenges. Right now we have a big challenge on the 360 to make it fit on a DVD, to put five languages, to put all the data on eight gigs. On the Blu-ray side we' re really good, but then the memory is quite different. How we handle memory is really different between the two machines and we' re struggling right now on the PS3. But we have people who are really dedicated and we' re having help from Microsoft on one side and Sony on the other side to have the same quality on both systems. It really depends on the week basically as to who' s best." . LINK I hope it doesn' t get delayed...

I hope it does get delayed so that the game is " finished" . I have no sympathy for UBISOFT. If BIOWARE can do it there is no reason why UBISOFT cant. I mean developers need to stop bitching about technology and get on with it.

they say the problem is the language, well then put 3 languages in aversion and 3 others in other version, same like many games did before even in the ps2 era, i don' t understand what is the problem? cost probably?

Have you ever programmed before? Done game development? If not, then please shut up. No one said it was easy but my point is that it can be done...... IT HAS BEEN DONE so moaning about something which can be done is pointless i feel. I am just hoping that UBIsoft don' t rush it for 07 and bring out a game which has unforgiving flaws.

Both consoles suck, I' ve been saying it forever. 360 should' ve had some kind of HD-DVD and the PS3 is a sloppy piece of hardware. I guess the PC version will be the only one that works in the end. LOL the irony. It' s usually the other way around. This gen sucks.

RED STEEL had problems that if they spent a little more time on it could have PLAYED much better than it did. All i am saying is that it would be very easy for them to ship it unfinished it happens with even some the best developers. But i still keep hearing that the game has frame rate issues and screen tearing problems. Good things come to those who are patient NOT those who rush. If it gets delayed its for the best RIGHT?

Getting a delay doesn' t necessarily mean they' re improving game mechanics. Some games that get delayed are still bad. Lair and Heavenly Sword of late. Lair was elayedto make the controls even worse, and Heavenly Sword was delayed to incorporate Andy Serkis into it and whatnot.

ORIGINAL: Nitro Red Steel was developed by Ubisoft Paris. Same thing you think when someone buys the game and they find things are wrong with it their gonna turn round and say " oh Ubisoft Pairs made it so its ok" . UBISOFT represent UBISOFT bottom line if Assassins Creed ends up having that unpolished feel to it i will be disappointed as i have wanted for this game ever since i thought it was a PS3 exclusive back in E3 2005.

I' m not sure about the gameplay but I love the setting and the atmosphere the game seems to have. The main character looks really badass too.

I maybe wrong, but on the basis of Assassins Creed being formely a Ps3 exclusive, I would assume Ubisoft have had more development time with this game on the Ps3. So for them to be having memory issues with the machine at such a late stage, is a little worrying.
