Your topic is misleading. Reasons.

A) It' s a rumor.
B) It only says it will cost a mere 6 bucks to play in tournaments. There is no fee to play regular online multiplayer.
C) None of these other so-called " fees" are really fees at all.

Strategy guides are usally 15 bucks. MS is selling a DVD that comes with a strategy guide for only 5 bucks more. Not only is it optional, it' s really no different than a paper back strategy guide.

The 54.99 price list is for the Special Edition, which again, is optional.

And the action figures, soundtracks, and novels are nothing new. In fact, all those have existed since Halo 1.

IMO, it' s a damn smart business move to charge for tournament play. At only a mere 6 bucks, then factor in the countless Halo nuts who are going to sign up, and then factor in how much money MS will have to put up to run online tournaments, 6 bucks sounds reasonable to me.

What' s so special about the special edition? Does it have bugs and glitches that were cut out of the regular game? Does it have an annoying running commentary as you play? Does it have special features that you will only watch once?

Typically I wouldnt say this, but your a dumbass. Did you read the article? This site is obviosly ran by morons. I' ll need to pay all of this to play halo 2 online? I must have forgot that I need a strategy guide to play a FPS, I forgot I need the figures to play online, and I guess I forgot that the tournaments were mandatory.

It has a second DVD(special features) and it comes in a metal box.

And for only $5 more y not go with the special edition.
