It' s not even half way to becoming recognized as the most successful gaming device, and saying it' s " the best" is both subjective and a matter of opinion.

DS' s sales speak for themselves, but i don' t know anybody who doubted it. It was almost guaranteed to be a massive success, just like every Nintendo handheld before it.

PSP kicks ass too. It' s not been as successful as DS but who gives a flying fuck? We all just care about the actual games right?

I like the PSP, and am preferential to the games for it. it' s a personal preference & nothing more.

If i was to get a handheld id get a PSP, i like the games style on that more than the DS, i sold my DS after having played half of Legend of Zelda and getting bored with it!

I wouldn' t even be interested in handheld games if it wasn' t for the PSP.
Not that there' s anything wrong with the DS, I feel disturbingly entertained when poking touchscreens, but the PSP is so damn nice.

Real gamers prefer PSP, VF5 isn' t a real gamer.

DS/Wii are fads.

FF tactics on PSP kicks ass. It has a steap difficulty in the first few matches but if you' ve played an FFT game before you would know what to expect.

I haven' t played too many PSP games but I want to try Silent Hill, one of the the Metal Gear games as well as one of the Socom games.

If anything, i' d attribute PSP' s lack of success to the UMD format. Not only does the drive obviously add to the manufacturing costs and thus recommended retail price, but it bombed as a video format almost instantly.

After fucking up with the Betamax, Minidisc and ATRAC formats, Sony figured it would be a great idea to give the proprietary medium thing at least a couple more shots...

Blu-Ray hasn' t taken off and UMD tanked hard. I mean, why would anybody pay money for a movie that a) costs more than a regular DVD, b) has no room for things like special features, or c) can' t be played in anything else?

Most people have taken to ripping DVD' s or even simply downloading movies that some muppet has taken the time and effort to rip, encode and upload for them and playing them off the memory cards. Sony haven' t even set up digital distribution for the thing yet... the fools.

The gaming side of things is great though and that' d what it' s supposed to be used for. Plus, you can' t watch porn on your DS.
