Hey everyone!

Spring training is in high gear, and PS2 baseball games are already on their way. High Heat Baseball 2004, All-Star Baseball 2004, MLB 2004, MVP Baseball 2004, World Series Baseball 2K3, and MLB Slugfest 2004 are all due within the next month or so.

Are any of you leaning towards a specific game yet, or are you waiting for the reviews to be posted before you decide?

Personally, I' m leaning towards High Heat 2004 and MLB Slugfest 2004. I' ve enjoyed the High Heat games to this point, despite the less-than-stellar visual quality. IMO, these games have been the best-playing baseball games since the NES days, and that' s saying something.

As for MLB Slugfest 2004, I totally had fun playing last year' s game, and Midway is adding a ton of new features this year, including a home run derby and player-specific batting stances. Midway is also promising a quicker game pace, so that playing a nine-inning game won' t be as long as it was last year.

I' m also interested in Sega' s World Series Baseball 2K3... especially with the ESPN license and the good things that were said about WSB on the XBox, I have to at least give it a run. MVP Baseball could be a sleeper hit, too, with a very cool franchise mode and some key changes in the former Triple Play gameplay system.

The Second oldest Topic in Kikizo [the oldest was locked, typical ].

First off, going back to the dark end of the boards I seen alot of topics by Daroosh and Mass X, they supported the Forum for quite a while, with next to nobody in it, So I think some thanks is in order for them.

Secondly, who are these guys? at the start of kikizo topics [on pg.176] alot of older members who I never seen before, They are like our ansestors of some sort. Maybe.

I do realize this isnt the very first or second topic, due to kikizo going through numberous server changes and such, I assume the very first topic was deleted, so this is as good as anybody can do.
