I'm writing the LittleBigPlanet review as you read :) The embargo elapses sometime on Tuesday - hopefully 12.01 am.

If you have any particular issues you'd like to see tackled on the basis of your beta experiences or aught else, now's the time to broach 'em...

Is the singleplayer really worth the purchase? is one of my concerns

Abuse the living hell out of the level maker! How many objects, max size of overall map etc etc etc just some various stress tests. I really Wanna know how high you can make a map.

Pfff, it's all about teamwork really. Adam caned it all night to get that MCLA one done and Stuart's had to see off both Fable 2 and Fallout 3 this week. I'm just the pointman :)

Okay fellas... the MCLA review refers me to the multiplayer preview for more information on the multiplayer.  And the multiplayer preview says 'we'll need some more time with this before we give our final verdict on multiplayer.' 

You see this?!  You see this vein in my forehead?!

And one other thing... how does it work with the wireless racing wheel?  You have one of those to test racing games with, right?

Heh, it's one of those endless feedback loop things. Whoops.

Mind you, can you ever really give a final verdict on an online multiplayer component? Or, for that matter, anything at all?

THANK YOU for talking about the multiplayer instead of just an after thought sentence like all the other reviews I've read.

The MCLA MP Preview described the modes and said that final judgement would be reserved until the review.

The review did not go over describing the MP modes again but instead resolved the former promise that we'd say if it's good or not.

"Fortunately the multiplayer side of things in the final game is what we'd hoped for: stable, varied and expertly designed."

This means: "Yes it's good".

It wasn't really in doubt but you're not allowed to be so conslusive sounding in the preview, I guess.

You rated fracture too high.

I actually canceled my OXM subscription over that. They have a new ****, Meghan Watt, or some shit like that, who gave Dead Space a 6.5, then she gave Fracture a 7. Seriously, back to the kitchen with her. The lowest scores in gamerankings avg for dead space was 89.9, brought under 90 only by the OXM review. Where as Fracture deserves every bit of the 2 out of 10 given to it by Eurogamer.

Sorry for the review shortage this week - I've had family business to take care of and Adam's genius postman managed to hand our review copies of Banjo, Gears 2 and Scene It! to his neighbor. Had a bit of a struggle (read: nightmare) getting R2 to work online, too.

Stuart is currently playing through Gears 2, while Edwin is busting his balls reviewing Mirror's Edge, Banjo Kazooie and EndWar all at the same time. I believe he's shouting words like OSCAR at his screen at this very moment. He's also playing Killzone 2. It's a hard life. I am going to review COD5 as well, so hooray for that.

Kinda shows how much you know... Its the reinvented Pro evo, has gameplay maybe the next xbox (with wii-rip-off motion controls) will advance to. In the mean time, you will never know as 1) u'll never own the game or 2) even if you did you'll find it way too much a multi-task for your small brain to grasp.

Controls are covered in Gameplay.  If you can't control it, you can't play it.  Edwin's chipper accent probably means he's okay; although he did say his Spanish mate was fine on his settings.  I'm not sure if it could cope with my accent.

Completely agree with the Gears 2 written, though I wouldve given it a slightly higher numerical rating. Your review plus the demo have convinced me that Mirrors Edge is worth a rental at least. EA FTW? What is the world coming to.
