If I ever were to go, I' d hit Dublin, or a city similar for a day, & then spend the rest in the countryside. Large cities in general have too much in common around the world for me to warrant going to them for any long period of time. I' d far rather take off the beaten path and go somewhere not surrounded by obese fanny-packed folks and their guided tours. I 100% agree with ya there Eddie. As I said definitely go to the West of the country. Ireland isn' t very big at all so you can see alot of the country in relatively short space of time

Yeah, it is funny. I hear folks from Europe talk about travelling the country, and I think 10 to 30 hour drives on big-arse freeways. Not a 1 or 2 hour jaunt.
