I' ve always thought that Nintendo would skip the online deal this generation and embrace it with their next console.

Seems like a plan as long as they fully follow through with it.

Yeah, some is kinda old, but the latter part of the report is new...

Wow Nintendo being online. That' s very exciting to hear. I can just imagine Mario Party games online and Legend of Zelda 4 Swords being online. I would just faint if that happend. Come on Nintendo you know that would be an excellent idea!

Too little too late...Nintendo would just stand to lose money to try and get a quality online service now. They might as well just start planning for their next console and make the online services for that. I' ve said it before and I' ll say it again...Nintendo is sitting on a gold mine if they really start to focus on online. It' s called Pokemon. Now I know what you are thinking but just think of playing a MMORPG of Pokemon. 3 dimensional forests, towns, real leagues going on. Of course Nintendo would definately need to deepen the battle system but IMO that is the strongest possible online franchise they have.
