After playing the home version of Magician Lord with its lousy save/continue points I trust the AES versions less than I do the MVS versions .

d00d u need a universe bios installed into ur aes lol. Seriously though, with the Universe BIOS, you can turn the AES version into the MVS version with the exception that the demo sound is always off and the Winners Don' t USe Drugs graphics (when present) is corrupted. Other than that, it' s all MVS style, including the " insert coins" . Oh yeah, the opening story is still there in Magician Lord even when it is switched to MVS.

I can make it up to the second part of the final round with the AES continue/checkpoint setup in Magician Lord.
