yeah rumour is the sequal will be on 360 and ps3. Capcom did say they might bring LP to the ps3 in japan if there was enough demand.

Meh, ignore the name for minute and bear in mind that i mentioned this like 5 months ago. There will be a Lost Planet game on PS3. 100% definite.

Has everybody seen the CG theater trailer for Lost Planet?!

I do remember Nitro saying that a few months ago, and I dont have any doubt it wont.

Just that I have Zero interest for the game.

And yet we' re not even talking about Lost Planet. We never were, not even 5 months ago when i said work on a sequel had started and that the game would make it onto PS3.

The name Lost Planet Wars sounds a bit boring.

There' s a CG theater trailer that shows a huge battle going on across a frozen plain, and since they' re putting a heavy emphasis on the online play for the game i' d probably surmise that it would be an even bigger focus for the sequel and that human enemies would be more prevalent.

However, ...my understanding is that the CG trailer was a precursor to the events that happen in the game and therefore a game based around those events would obviously be a prequel.

That being said, the new multiplayer maps are not " snowy" and are a nice change. With terraforming starting at the end of the first game, it' d be sensible to have a direct sequel featuring much more varied conditions and more diverse locals.

But then they could do an online specific game.

Who knows.

True. Whatever the name, i agree with Nitro there will be a sequel to LP on the PS3
