Lost Planet!

Does any one agree with me that has downloaded the demo that the graphics and gameplay are rather addictive? I did' nt really care about this game, it seemed to be just another run and gun game..... Then I tossed my first grenade and saw the biggest explosion since the Atom bombing on Hiroshima(?)! The demo so far has varied gameplay, the graphics are well done, and runs at the smoothest of smooth framerates (Oblivion take note). The fact that you can alternate between Mech and Human is a good concept, and when your Mech freezes up , you can rip the guns from either side of it and become a pivotal human turret (make up some cool line whilst you' re at it, like You B@stards killed my mother!) Already i have played the demo 8 times and counting. I also like it as well because the amount of bugs and insects on the screen reminds me of Gun Valkyrie (one of my fav xbox games and frustratingly hard). How many of you guys have actually played the demo???

I didn' t even realise there were 2 levels to play at first. But i think the snow pirate level is cooler (geddit?!) than the one with all the aliens. It requires optimization though, espacially the alien AI and animations. The rest is awesome as expected!

I still haven' t completed the Snow Pirate level... Yeah, the AI on the pirates does need to be improved, but at the moment I am happy because i can just run circles around them...hehe, I like the explosions, which in my opinion are better than G.R.A.W' s (not necessarily bigger, but i feel alot more desparation to zipline out of those situation' s, which is another wicked feature). I like the level with aliens because it does remind me of Gun Valkyrie, but the Snow pirate one is varied because there is nothing more satisfying than dodgin huge explosions and taking down mech' s whilst surrounded by billows of smoke and rockets just slinging past you.... Why can' t all games take a note of this graphical quality? And can someone explain why alot of 360 games are running on 30fps... 60 fps is what I need dammit! Silky smooth animation..

Loved the demo too! Looks and plays great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the physics when you shoot and blow stuff up, and the difficulty level in places. Have to play it again though, to see if I can actually complete a level!

...this game looks fantastic!.... ...haven' t played the demo, but this game is at the top of my 360 games list (...if i ever get that plasma screen...) ......i just hope that it isn' t too short (they also need to make the dude run faster)... ...is there any info about live support for Lost Planet?... ...i' m hoping for 2-4 player co-op and team death-match modes .... ...don' t you think it' s strange why *coughtuttergarbagecough* like Too Human gets more 360 fanboy hype than this?....

*coughtuttergarbagecough* Lemsip?Lol.. To me Too (you) Human moved a bit slow it looked shiny as well. Who' s making it agin? Even though the guy in Lost Planet does move slow.. (it' s a snowy climate, to be honest I wouldn' t feel like doing my Khris Akubusi if it was cold), him moving slow doesnt take away from the gamplay aspect, beause he' s also got a roll, a bit like Ryu Hayabusa in Ninja Gaiden, so if you need to move quicker, you can always roll everywhere, which will help you in a lot of burn victim inducing situations. It' s these undercover bad boys that go unnoticed, everyone is making noise about what is speculation at the moment, what about what is here!! Lost Planet *advertisement* if you have an X-box 360, then head on over to the Market place now, ever tried snowy conditions? Hate the bugs in your gardens? Well tackle them both now on the new Lost Planet from Capcom... X-box 360 jump in.. *close advertisement*

Finally completed the Snow Pirate level... And only realised, that the Mech' s you get into, can do different things, so far I have found 2 mech' s one hovers, and the other one jumps really high... How on God' s earth did this game stealth me out for so long, I have found a new title to look out for now..
