London/Glasgow Car Bombings
-
Jul 01, 2007 23:08
BBC News I' m suprised nobody has brought this up yet. Two Mercedes - left on Friday outside a club in Haymarket and a nearby street - contained petrol, gas cylinders and nails but the devices did not detonate. On Saturday a blazing car was driven into Glasgow Airport' s terminal building. Police said it was too early to say if it was linked. Police in London are studying CCTV footage in the search for suspects. ' Worrying similiarities' Prime Minister Gordon Brown is expected to chair the third meeting in two days of the government emergencies committee Cobra later. This comes after police in Scotland confirmed a burning car had been driven into the main terminal building at Glasgow Airport after 1515BST. Two people have since been arrested. Mr Brown has spoken to Scotland' s First Minister Alex Salmond and Home Secretary Jacqui Smith. But Downing Street has refused to comment on whether the incidents in Scotland and London are linked, saying this was a matter for the police. The BBC' s Andy Tighe said there were " worrying similarities" betweeen the two incidents but no-one in authority had yet made any " firm linkage."

An eyewitness stopped one of the scumbag terrorists with his elbow, according to the BBC reports. A terrorist ran from the car and this guy shoved his elbow or forearm into the guy and put him on the floor.

The 4th is on a Wednesday... who parties on a Wednesday? I' ve been reading up on the components of the carbombs, & it' s evident that they were total ameteurs. The bomb that went off was very poorly executed, and the ones that were being bombbot-ed weren' t mastermind material either. Propane as a general rule explodes rather unextraordinarily, and then burns for quite a while after, instead of a collossal explosion they were hoping for. Someone had been watching way too many action movies.

Yes and no to the amateurs bit, there is some Al-qaeda member or sympathiser who was involved in the July 7th London bombings, who had in an interview claimed that they will fill cars with petrol gas canistors and nails, instead of planting bombs that way the " targets" can be almost anywhere. It does look like however the 2 ***wit scumbags that tried to do Glasgow were just stupid. I just wish the government would do something positive for a change, like round them all up and ship them to some other country, france or germany would be good for a start.

Only problem with that is we need him in this country to stop the raghead scumbag terrorists here first. Maybe we should clone him like Dolly the Sheep, I wish more people like him would stand up and be counted.

Religious people using violence to make their voice heard? Disgusting? Yes,put them in a cell with the worse murders we have in the world and let them have it.
