t' s pretty sweet. Just press " Play Xbox 360" and it will turn on your 360, tv, and receiver, and set the tv and receiver for the appropriate input! That is cool!!!! It would be awsome if you could program it to control all your devices like that by asigning numbers to them - Play #1 = turn on dvd player, tv, video 3 on tv, turn on reciever audio 2 and so on. I' d buy it for that.

ORIGINAL: Xtreme are there any triggers on that? No. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view) you can' t use it as a controller. It' s just a universal remote; but what a universal remote it is!

Ok, here' s my impressions about the thing after using it for a couple of weeks. I' m SOOO glad I got this thing! I can finally put ALL of my 7 remotes off to the side, and just have one to control it all! And it does it BEAUTIFULLY! I still have a couple of things to work out. First of all, when I hit " Play Xbox 360" for some reason my PS2 comes on and my 360 doesn' t! I think that happened when I set it up, and I' ve been to lazy to redo it (even though I' m sitting here writing about it, instead!) Also, to access some of the more common functions on a couple of the remotes (most notably the input select buttons on the projector and the receiver) you have to scroll through a couple of screens to reach them. Some of the remotes have as many as 10 SCREENS to scroll through! but at least ALL of the functions are represented. All in all I' d give it a thumbs up! It' s just so convenient and cuts down on all the clutter. Now, all I have sitting on my ottoman is one remote, a 360 controller, and a Logitech wireless Xbox controller. Now, If I could only turn on my Xbox without getting up, I could FINALLY grow the roots I' ve been striving for!

I just won 100 dollars in surivivor pools last night Cheesaw, and this is exactly what I want to purchase with it! I have some questions I really hope you can answer, and fast!!(I hate having money and not spending it) 1. Can you customize the setup once their database programs the thing for you. Example, how do I tell the remote which audio setting my 360 is set up on, and which video setting on the TV it' s set up on? 2. For a device that' s not on their database(I highly doubt my crappy Sasktel cable box will be) I know the device is a learning remote. Can I take learned remote functions and edit them into one of the selected categories? Example, can I learn my sasktel remote and then have the logitech harmony remote use those functions when I press the " watch TV" button, but still use the audio settings from my reciever? I know they' re kind of in depth, but if you could answer them i' d be muchos happy.

1. When you go through the initial setup (as long as the component is in their database) you just hook up the remote to your pc, and tell it what settings you need for the macros. It asks all the right questions to set up your components correctly, as far as powering them on and switching them to the correct inputs/outputs. 2. Honestly, I don' t know, but I believe that you can. The thing is uber-customizable. I have yet to fully realize the potential of mine, but I' ll probably play around with it on Wednesday (if you can wait that long!)

I went and bought it. Not the exact one pictured, but rather the 520c. It' s the exact same except it' s not designed for the 360, instead it is silver, and doesn' t have the x,y,a,b buttons. Funny thing is when I set it all up it recognizes my 360 and maps those buttons conveniently! I agree though. Freakin amazing. I' m going through it all tonight, but for now all I can say is go buy one. They retail for 99 american (the 520C) and 129 for the 360 version. the 360 one supposedly comes with a 30 dollar rebate if you buy a 360. But other than that, or if you want the white, I don' t see the reason for spending the 30 bucks extra. If anyone in Canada is interested, they should know that for some reason Visions Electronics is selling the 520 c for 99 Canadian, while all other places have it for 129. Don' t know why, but I didn' t ask!

It makes basic functions simplified for all the idiots who want to use your system. And at the same time it allows rediculous customization.
