Another awesome interview :) I actually think only Sonic Team have been lagging and Nights looks to rectify that. Have SEGA got their groove back?

Good interview Adam. You missed the opportunity to ask about controllers. Playing the game with 360 controllers must be super shit (what did you use while playing the 360 version?), VF5 requires every command to be reconsigned with precision and the 360' s d-pad isn' t very precise. It would be a dream come true if SEGA was to release a wireless Saturn-style pad for the 360. Would make sense as you know It' ll be a MUST for any avid Xbox live arcade player. BTW Adam, I' ll love to challenge you over LIVE one time. EDIT: My 360 been outta order for a while now, only just got round to sending it off to MS, been playing friends 360' s to keep updated on lastest 360 action (Halo 3 is one :P).. My Gamertag is Bare Knuckle II

I thought there is going to be released a special VF5 controller simultaneously with the 360 launch of VF5.

I love these fags who complain on the 360 controller in fightinggames, then get a fucking joystick. I rather play with a fucking joystick then some crappy ps3 controller. VF5 has it own joystick get it and then stfu and whine on the 360.

I think one of the points might be that as consumers they' d like every aspect of their investment to be top notch, after all the money they plunked down for a unit. Controllers aren' t as cheap as they used to be, some of them cost as much as a brand new game, if not more. But I also understand what you' re saying about investing in another controller to get the most out of a game. Take Gradius V for instance. I had absolutely NOOOOOO plans to play that thing with the Dual Shock II, that was just a nightmare scenario waiting to happen so I just invested in both a Guilty Gear pad and a Saturn pad just for that game.

Exactly. If Microsft really cared about great gameplay for games that relied on precise 2d gaming they would of released a decent XBL controller (see Wii) or ATLEAST unlocked the USB' s so we gamers who care could use our own Peripherals.. (see PS3).

Why would you need a 360 pad as well?

I suppose Sony really wanted/needed the " exclusive" early on. Even if that meant that some features couldn' t be incorporated. OR maybe Microsoft payed a lot to have online included.

Or maybe the Sega didn' t want to spare the expense of having an Online mode. It' s pratically free to support online on a 360 game. They just have to make the mode and use Live instead of needing their own servers.

Sega knows 360 owners aren' t real arcade fighter people and that online play is something they must have regardless of how shitty it is, so to sell any copies at all they had to include online play.

Does it really matter if ps3 gets online or not? the harcore Vf fans will not touch it and most likely already have the game and the bunch who do play will experaince a jon of lag. I guess we have to wait untill everybody has 10meg connections...
