This game is gonna flop harder than a large mouth bass in the middle of a freeway. They should have delayed it until February or March of ' 08 if they were hoping for it to get much attention.

Why would it flop? It has just as much chance as any other new IP released this month,IMO.

Not flop, per se, but it wont come close to the big3 of November(COD4, AC, ME)

The " Fragile Alliance" multiplayer looks interesting though.

Just my own prediction, but I would say that it is because the main characters are pretty unappealing.

Even the title of the game is working against it. " Kane & Lynch" sounds cool but if I understand marketing, no one will buy a game called " Kane & Lynch" . I don' t know why, that' s just the way it is. This sounds crazy but the success of this game will depend heavily on the box art.

Zoy is right, there is too much competition this month, but I' m sure they wanted to meet the holiday season. You' d be surprised how many people buy games without knowing anything about them. Especially when people buy the games for someone else as a gift.

The game will sell to the same audience that buys the Hitman games.

Talking strictly names, " Kane & Lynch:Dead Men" will move a lot more product than " Mass Effect"


BTW, I' m not defending this game on it' s merit, or because I plan to buy it. From what I' ve seen it' s a poor choice from a genre that doesn' t appeal to me in the first place.

Still, it' s a popular genre. There' s tough competition, sure, but it' s not really direct competition. A worse screnario would be releasing the same week as GTAIV or something like that.

It looks fugly. The Simpsons game will sell better than that, which (to me) is surprisingly already out.

I' ll be renting it & then buying it later down the line after I' ve gotten the other November game purchases out of the way (read as, November 2009 ). The multiplayer sounds phenominal, & the story-mode has some appeal to me as well.

While the multiplayer sounds really cool, i doubt it will be played much online. seems like only flagship titles are active in the MP area.

I' ll be picking it up on PC when it drops, mainly for the single players story. Might end up being crap but for £18 its ok and I can just sell it after completing it!

Looking forward to trying it out though. I think it' ll be an excellent even if its not the best looking title.

I liked hitman, but this looks generic.

I will give it a go before I judge it before I dont know anybody getting it.
