KOTOR 2 DEAD AND BURIED New footage from the MMORPG flies us through the graveyard world of Korriban
12:00 LucasArts has released new footage from KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords, the movie taking us on a brief guided tour of Korriban, a graveyard world and former burial ground of the ancient lords of the Sith.
Korriban is about as dead as dead can get, having been killed off twice in its existence, " once when it served as the burial grounds of the ancient lords of the Sith, and again, when the end of the Jedi Civil War brought death to Korriban."
It' s a mysterious world surrounded by speculation: rumours that internal conflict between Sith Lords on the planet brought about the world' s demise, vying with suggestions that the world could have been destroyed by the Republic, all whispered throughout the galaxy.
" All that remain on Korriban' s surface are beasts and echoes, ghosts of the dead that still walk and whisper the ancient teachings of the Sith," informs LucasArts. " To touch down within its windswept canyons and blood-red skies is to be filled with a sense of unease - then a slow dread, as the evil of Korriban begins to take hold.
" There are also tales of dark side beasts, the Hssiss, that now stalk its surface, and even more sinister dangers lurking within hidden tombs within the Valley of the Sith Lords. Once the staging ground of two empires, now Korriban belongs only to the dead - and their secrets."
