I have never been interested in Star Trek, apart from the Next Generation, but I love Abrams works and I think that he can definitely breath new life into the already stagnant Star Trek.

Well according to my brother, who is crazy for Star Trek, this is supposed to be about spock going back in the past to his young self and some adventure they have. I would watch it.

Meh, ...it won' t touch Wrath of Khan  Lost is shit and Cloverfield is beyond pathetic. Abrams is overrated.

Whaaaaaa??? But Mission Impossible 3 kicked ass. He only produced Cloverfield I thought...Alias was pretty cool.

I dunno about Cloverfield, but it' s trash either way.
Lost and Alias were/are awful and so yeah, MI3 is the only good production he' s been involved in. Star Trek could be good, but i kinda doubt it.

It' s definitely not " me" Shitty acting, sketchy plot, a monster you never see. It' s like the Blair Witch Project, only much worse. And i HATED the Blair Witch Project.

I only saw the trailer of the statue of liberty head rolling around and thought yeah this is prolly aimed at an american audience only.
Never liked Lost either, pretty people on a colourful island and no plot, reminded me of reality tv show here called love island. :P
As for Star Trek, I preferred the dodgy special effects of old and The Shatner. But I might check out some more trailers for this.

Now, Lost is a series I am not interested in at all. But if he does pull an MI3 on this, where he nailed things where they counted, then we can probably expect a good film.
