CGI isn' t dead but some developers like to use it way to much,and its not like
Starcraft2 has mind blowing graphic,it looks slightly better then warcraft3 but with a lot better lightning and cool lasers.

So CGI is a big diffrence compared to the gameplay and blizz is probably world best at CGI,beating even S-E with ease.

Reading around the web, among other places, IGN forums, people are dissapointed in the style and design, saying its too much like the first, and not enoung invovation!

Too me it looks great, and the style is the same as the first SC Imo!

The game looks awesome imo but I wish it wasn' t so bright. I was expecting it to look grittier like the first game but I' ve already talked to someone that' s in the know and he said it' s bright for two reasons- 1) Quite simply it' s easier to see what' s going on with brighter colored units and 2) The WarCraft 3 team is making StarCraft 2.

Having the WarCraft 3 team making StarCraft 2 worries me a little since I was just slightly underwhelmed with WC3. I' ve been assured though that the game will stay stong to the original and they won' t be taking any liberties with the sequal.

He also metioned the game really will feel like a SC1.5 rather than a full blown sequal just because the gameplay in the first game is already as close to RTS perfection as anyone has come. Their primary audience is the Koreans so they need to make them happy before anyone else. Changing the gameplay or design would be a seriopus problem. SC2 will pretty much be a visual update with new units, some new features for current units, the continuation of the storyline, and the new graphics engine.

That' s personally exactly what I wanted. I consider the original one of the greatest games of all time so I' m happy with what' s being done. I look forward to upcoming news!

The graphic is slightly better then wc3 but has lightning effects way above it.

Anyway you guys have to remember this is a game that can' t have slow downs when in Multiplayer and is supposed to be like a new SC or HL that many many people shuld be able to play,so the game can become huge as the previous title was.

I mean the reason why the game was on every tv channel in south korea was because...well almost everyone with a pc could play it.

Now perhaps 15-20% wont of those earlier once,but those will uprgaded for sure.

I think it looks awesome. I didn' t play the original game much to be honest. Not that I disliked it but I never took the time to become good at it.
Maybe I' ll give this one a chance but all the veterans will probably kick my butt anyway... as always.
