Interesting DX10 info - Jun 29, 2006 06:30
Great article about dx10 at extreme-tech, but it' s long and a lot of it went over my head too! Still it was an interesting read/listen for those that like that sort of thing!

Some of it will apply to the 360, and bits in the middle mention Crysis. I don' t really know what to make of it all yet, but it sounds as though it' ll actually help the industry rather than just make it more expensive as most other advances tend to do..

Not just ducks... but magic demos, they only appear once a decade..

Killzone pooh

and

Sh!tStorm

To be fair, I think there is a tech demo that Microsoft lied about... I' ll see if I can
find it... it was for the X-box..

The other one (I can' t find it, it' s pretty old)

But it had a woman with an X-box tattoo on her stomach and when she started
moving first, then I think she pressed something and then a robot stepped out
and was mimicking all her movements. It was a good tech demo, but looked sh!t
loads better than anything we saw on the X-box.

On the other hand, the 360 tech demo' s looked a lot more realistic and achievable.

So does anyone remember that demo?
