I was wondering about THUG 2
-
May 16, 2004 22:07
The origional tony hawk underground, introduced the story mode. A rags to riches deal. I was wondering what they were gonna do for a new story. Team Hawk vs Team Magerra. With Bam Magerra making it big in the real world, be well known for his destructive nature (Jackass, CKY, Viva la Bam), it makes sence to have him star in a game. From what I seen this game looks hilariously fun. The enviroments look huge, but the graphics dont look to be much of an improvment. However, the franchise has always been fun so I cant wait for this game to come out. Console Trailer PSP Trailer

OMG! They have officially killed Tony Hawk games. It all started getting repetitive with 4, then everything just went downhill. The graphics seem to be getting worse too IMO. Theres nothing new with tony hawk, just rehash and rehash. Activision has beaten a dead horse one to many times. [:' (]

For the first three instalments, the Tony Hawk games were my absolute favorites. I devoured them as soon as I got them. From THPS4 it just seems like they' re retreading the same ground. I know that there are improvements, but it doesn' t feel different. And I didn' t like THUG at all. I like the idea of a skateboarding RPG, but that was just poorly done. The story was pretty bad and didn' t really add too much except stupid goals.
