How did that get through Q&A?

Im not talking about crashes and the like, im looking at it more from a gameplay point of view. My choice is Sonic 3 Not the image im after but will give you an idea of the level im about to talk about. Remember on the casino level, act 2, there was a spinning red and white drum, jumping on it made it bounce up and down. Now it was stuck in the only exit out of that section. Now me and a mate bought a guide and the guide didnt explain what to do next, jumping up and down trying to get it to bounce high enough to get under it, with no luck, in the end we used turbo fire and glitched our way through the wall and underneath it. It was only years later i found out that standing on it and pushing up and down was the key to move it, im sure many many other people got stuck here as there was no way of knowing that was the way to do it.

Well I see it now. It wasn' t working before like deadmeat said. Well... I' m not sure what you mean by that pic. Are you just wondering how they put that level into a game or what?

No not wondering how as its a great level, its just one bit which totally breaks the flow of the gameplay. theres no way of knowing you can move the barrel up and down with the dpad to get past, i know loads of people who got stuck on this bit, its bad design really. the rest of the level is fine however.
