If you love horror movies here' s somthing to check out.
Horrorfest

Basically a company is releasing 8 very twisted horror movies during one weekend in nov and an encore later. These movies wouldnt normally make it to hte big screen so its a unique oppurtunity. Some places will have real big things going on with celeb signings and what not. Anyhow pricing wont be out til the 31st so bookmark the site and check it out if youre interested.

See, this is the kind of thing that just doesn' t happen here. I envy you and implore the US members of Kikizo to make the most of it, even if you don' t like horror movies!

I think the next worthy horror movie released here will be Grindhouse. I heard there was a trailer but haven' t seen it. Anybody know where i can find it?!

Yes! One of the theaters is right down the street from me, and I should be off at least one of those days. Cool!

At my local theater every friday night at midnight (technically its saturday morning) they have what we call " Midnight Madness" , and they play three movies in a row for the price of one. This time of year they play a bunch of horror movies, I might go next week.

ah.. horror movies suck.

The old school horror movies were tight, I used to love the first 3 or 4 Nightmare on Elm streets when I wasa little kid. And of course shit like Psycho and the Exorcist were awesome.

Nowadays... I think the last good thriller I saw was The Others, but thats so full of drama and twists that I' d hardly call it a horror movie, but its better than all the horror shit released recently, I saw Silent Hill, Alone in the dark, and some haunted house movie the other day... all fucking awful.

Silent hill was overdrawn, but it is the most faithful game adaptation out. The Descent was the last great horror film I saw, so awesome! I watched the trailer for this, I think it is on the east coast though so :/ Leaves me out.

Edit: Alright, so it is in 50 different theaters. Hopefully one is up in Portland here in Oregon, that would mean I could go see these! :)

I like Rob, but I can' t help but bust up laughing every time I listen to his music, It' like he' s trying too hard, y' know. When people ask me what I' m laughing at, and I hand them my earbuds, the reactions are interesting.[:' (]

Descent was awesome. I' m not a Rob Zombie Fanboy and still loved Devil' s Rejects...I hated House of 1000 corpses though, it was like someone let a little kid have a camera and some editing software.

I' m not a huge fan of blood&gutz horror films, I like the creepy psychological thriller kinda scary movies myself.

Then you shalll want to watch the Japanese horror thriller that is part of the lot. As it says you can get the weekend pass or select which you wanna watch.
