I' m going over a friends house to try out the demo either tomorrow or Friday (hopefully). He said it was pretty awesome though.

I' ve only played a few of the online maps from beta, but I haven' t been able to play the demo. I' m pretty stoked about the single player, but I think i' ll just wait until it comes out

Someone posted on here a little earlier that he played the demo and wasn' t too impressed. I wouldn' t mind trying it myself.

I would buy the managine with the demo but would only be doing so for the demo and I' m not that bothered. The bloody thing is £6. Thats roughly 3 pints. There' s no chance.

Forgot to tell everyone that I played the demo and enjoyed it. So a couple days ago I pre-ordered Killzone along with GTA:SA (GTA is more for my brother than me). Now I just hope I can scrap together the money to buy another PS2 before Killzone comes out.

" Halo-killer." Pah. And the game' s more than two years old. Excellent timing, Sony. I' ll admit the cyber-cool look of a sniper scope zeroing in on a very tough-looking commando in one of the early screenshots took my attention, I immediately lost interest after I heard about the rest of the game. That bit about how " you don' t have to hold your teammates' hands or anything" was the real turn-off. Great, another shooter with invincible squaddies. Just what we needed. You know, this money could have been put to better use for an X-Com sequel, guys.

Great, another shooter with invincible squaddies. You might want to explain this. I can' t remember the last FPS I played that had " invinncible squaddies." In fact, they were all just immensely stupid, if I remember correctly. Few ever survived very long. And the term " Halo-killer," at this point in time, is just idiotic. The media is responsible for that, not Sony. All they want to do is put out a great FPS. Whether or not it turns out that way remains to be seen, but I' d suggest you not completely write it off just because you don' t like the idea.
