Plz no damn sonyfanboys trolling my threads plz.

Mario Galaxy > Blue Dragon

Metroid Prime 3 > Blue Dragon

Super Smash Bros Brawl > Blue Dragon

Sorry, couldn' t resist.

Anywhooo, I haven' t got a television that supports 1080p anyway. An uncle of mine does, though. He buys everything (excpet for the PS3, and movies which he just downloads).

Actually it was either a 4 or a 6 ms LCD, I wasn' t looking at anything higher than that. The reason it wouldn' t make a difference is because the pixel would stay the same until changed on the LCD and it would just tell it to use the same pixel so nothing would happen.

I have a 2 ms monitor I play at 75 hz and going from that to a CRT at any refresh rate I can notice the pixels update slower, easily towards the bottom and middle, not as much towards the top.

Anyways, this is the one I think I' m going to buy.
Sharp LC-46D62U 46" 1920x1080 / 1080p Native / 4ms / 10000:1 Contrast Ratio / HDMI / ATSC / LCD HDTV - FREE SHIPPING
The only thing I don' t like about it is the lack of VGA and DVI inputs, but I think the $1699 price tag more than makes up for it.

He' s right, it really wouldn' t make a difference. LCD is so slow anyway that you could never notice the difference. My 60Hz LCD monitor looks more solid than a 300Hz CRT. Or so...

The Beta looked a touch better than Halo 2, so the Beta really isn' t a good comparison to use on how the final product will look of course.

I don' t think that we should expect Halo 3 to be one of the best looking next-gen games to come out. Halo has never been known for having outstanding graphics.

Or gameplay.

I guess you don' t have a high def tv.

The beta looked great, but it wasn' t as nice looking as Gears.

You can' t really tell without HD, but the subttle effects and huge draw distance made it look great.
