I think this is gonna get a lot of criticism, more towards the bad side. However, it could be a fairly entertaining game. Dead Rush Official Site

I was going to make a thread about this game... and I was going to use the exact same title... seriously. I think it' s actually a pretty good idea for a game even if it is just a rip off of RE and GTA. I just hope it' s not like this: 1. Get in car 2. Run over zombies 3. Run over more zombies 4. Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.

And there' s a WHOLE LOT more to GTA besides running things over...actually, it' s not even a part of the game unless you want it to be.

It does sound like that' s what I was saying, doesn' t it? That' s not at all what I meant. Dead Rush obviously won' t have all of the same elements as GTA. I' m hoping that running people (well, zombies) over isn' t the only thing they have in common, it needs more than that.

I agree. This should be like GTA. What we all really want is for the developers to create a world with physics and fun, and let us decide what we do/ do not do. Open ended is great, unless of course, the game has a great story that you would have to do certain things to advance it.(Splinter Cell, Halo- these are the kind of games that are good even with " close-ended" gameplay) Games need to go beyond, and become what the best developers want them to be: an interactive way of telling a story, or failing that, at least let the player decide what they want to do. After all, we know what we want, not some number pushing PR Representitive.
