Fat Albert Trailer and info

Trailer Director: Joel Zwick (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Second Sight) Cast: Kenan Thompson (Fat Albert), Aaron Frazier (Weird Harold), Omari Grandberry (AKA Omarion) (Reggie), Kyla Pratt, Jeremy Suarez (voice of Russell), Raven Symone (voice of Danielle), Jermaine Williams (Mush Mouth) Screenwriter: Bill Cosby Story: Fat Albert and crew somehow make their way from the animated show into present day reality. Craziness ensues. Albert scores 2 love interests and in the cliche way must choose one. Release Date: December 25, 2004 ---------------------------------------------------- My Own Thoughts SO Far It honestly doesn' t look that interesting (also I' ve always hated Kenan Thompson' s acting ability). It looks to have a few small laughs here and there but the overall story couldve went to a better place, like sticking to what it originally was. However, it looks more aimed at the young youngens so that may be the reason.

Cast: Kenan Thompson (Fat Albert), Isn' t he from Saturday Night Live? Anyways, I always loved watching the Fat Albert cartoons...if this movie is even half as good as those cartoons, it will be awesome!!!

They could have just as easily used Eddie Murphy' s character from The Nutty Professor to play Fat Albert ;)

That' s where I saw him...Nickelodeon! Thanks, Mass X! I agree, they could have used the Eddie Murphy character to portray Fat Albert. Maybe it was a licensing issue...

As a kids movie I can see it working. But the Fat Albert I remember certainly did not look that young. That simply throws me off.

Kenan is on Saturday Night Live. He also sounds NOTHING like Fat Albert. Hell, I sound more like Fat Albert than he does. Also, if Fat Albert is coming from " his time" into " our time" , how does he know how to do phiggidy phat tight bomb thingz like rap yo?
