ESPN NBA 2005 Or NBA Live 2005? - Oct 03, 2004 22:30
I used to get EA' s version of just about every sport...

Until the Visual Concepts produced sports titles for the Sega Dreamcast.

As an XBOX owner, I find that I prefer the continued VC/ESPN sports line in almost all sports except golf...I still get EA' s Tiger Woods series there.

After reading the ESPN NBA 2005 review, I must say that I am proud of my choice in sports titles...

How about you? Which, if either, are you going to get?

I definatly prefer ESPN. Even before the games were dropped to $20.

Got 2k5.

But even before the Dreamcast/2K series I never liked Live.

Felt too much like basketball for mainstream gamers. Playing Live with my brother for the past several years haven' t changed my mind.

Once again the $20 dollar price tag is hard to beat...

I just saw the commercial for the slam dunk contest included in the NBA Live game... must say it looks pretty da** good...maybe EA is actually trying to win this category back (unlike what they did with their Madden franchise).
