I think he was saying dont say what they were doing is dumb or nething, as it is all fun and games. And ppl need to release their inner child to have some fun form time to time. However, if ppl go about and speak low of them soon the inner child will die and there will be no more fun. Thus you metaphorically killed the inner child.
