As far as I know doom three will be released for the xbox Im suprised that since this will give halo 2 competition from the pics ive seen that there arent any posts about it it has the best graphics ive seen in a monster type game and the levels looks amazing themselves. the game would be perfect even without the characters in it. metroid prime 2 for gamecube will also rule.

You can' t focus so much on graphics my friend. Sure I can be a graphics hog but really I' m more hyped about Halo 2 than any other game coming out next year... or this year for that matter. I enjoyed Half Life because of its storyline and great level design. I liked Halo even more because of the great story, superb graphics, the ability to ride vehicles, massive levels, and I could go on and on. I remember playing some of the old Dooms and I enjoyed them as well. The reason I want Halo 2 more is because of the gameplay. Even tough its graphics may be a bit weaker than Doom' s and Half-Life' s It doesn' t mean it is any less outstanding. As of today there hasn' t been a week that I haven' t popped in Halo since I got my Xbox 2 years ago(except on vacation). It has unlimited replay value and the way it just grips the gamer is astounding. I have never experienced a game with such gravity. It litterally attracts people. I have met some many people through Halo parties and being the champion fo Jacksonville for Halo at the Xbox Tour(not officially because there was no real competition for it but I always won). It' s just that amazing gameplay that keeps me and so many others coming back for more. This is not to say that Doom 3 won' t be awesome. I really can' t wait for this game. It truely does have some amazing graphics and hopefully the gameplay and plot will be of equal calibur. The videos and screens look down right gorgeous. The montsers are twisted and horendous which is perfect for the game. The overall level design looks great too. Sadly the Xbox verion most likely won' t be out until next holiday season according to the Official Xbox Magazine.

The words Doom and Plot really don' t go together. I will get both but the game I' m most looking forward to is Halo 2 (even more than Fable). Doom III will be deathmatch heaven, but so will Halo 2. Halo 2 will most likely have a better storyline and physics engine.
